How to Shrink Pores like a Bo$$
Visible pores are the most common complaints people have about their skin. “Pore-shrinking” toners and masks are always popular, but can they really work? Find out and learn how to safely shrink pores with my three-product steps.
The best thing you can do to make your pores look smaller and your face clearer is to regularly clean out your pores.
To clear out your Sebaceous Filaments and shrink your pores’ appearance with this technique, you’ll need about an hour,.
- A 2% BHA product with a pH between 3 and 4. Maximum Strength Stridex*, Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant*, and COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid* all work, but any BHA with the correct percentage and pH will do.
- A clay mask. Just about any other clay mask will do as well. For something a bit less drying.
- An emulsifying oil cleanser.Simple Oil cleanser
Note: The best time to do this is in the morning, before your regular morning skin care routine. This way, you won’t have to cleanse first and then again at the end of this process.
- Apply your BHA product. (If you have dry or dehydrated skin, you may want to limit your BHA and the rest of this process to only the areas of your face where your SFs are most visible.) Because BHAs are oil soluble, they’ll be able to penetrate deep into the sebum filling up your pores, loosening the gunk to make it easier to remove with the following steps. Wait 20-25 minutes to allow the BHA to do its job.
- Without washing off the BHA, apply your clay mask. Wait for however long the clay mask instructions specify.
- Rinse off your clay mask with tepid to lukewarm water. Be careful with your water temperature here, as both your BHA and clay mask can be quite drying, and you don’t want to overdry your skin by throwing hot water at it on top of that. Dry your face.
- Apply your cleansing oil or carrier oil. Wait 15 minutes. The oil will help draw the gunk in your pores to the surface.
- Gently massage your face or areas you’re treating for 2-3 minutes. If all has gone well, at this point you’ll feel tiny little grains coming out of your pores! These are the clogs that have been making your pores more visible. Many people call them “grits,” and getting grits out of your face is an amazingly satisfying feeling. Do not apply too much pressure to your skin or massage for longer than 5 minutes, tops. Doing so can result in broken capillaries, and those can’t be fixed without pricey laser treatments. Don’t worry if you don’t feel the grits. Some people don’t, either because the clogs are too small or because there wasn’t enough sebum and dead skin buildup to create grits. Even if you don’t feel any coming out, this process is still clearing your pores and reducing their appearance.
- After the oil massage, emulsify and rinse off your cleansing oil or wash off your carrier oil as usual. Continue with your regular skincare routine.
You will notice that the appearance of your pores is visibly reduced. Pores that suffer from sebaceous filaments do inevitably fill back up, usually within a few days. Doing this twice a week will keep things in check.
Natasha Denona – Cruelty free & Vegan?
Natasha Denona is one of the big brands made by a makeup artist that is sold across mass retailers like Sephora.
Although Natasha Denona isn’t certified, they are 100% cruelty-free. However, they’re not vegan, as some of their products contain Beeswax and Carmine.
Since animal testing for cosmetics is banned within the EU, it’s safe to say that Natasha Denona doesn’t test on animals, and their ingredients aren’t tested on animals. They also specifically mention that their suppliers don’t test on animals and that they don’t sell their products where required by law.
Natasha Denona isn’t Leaping Bunny-certified. They also haven’t signed PETA’s pledge of no animal testing, and can’t be found anywhere on PETA’s Caring Consumer list.
In a chat with their customer service they mentioned the following:
“We are happy and proud to inform you that none of our ingredients suppliers, nor our manufacturers are practicing any kind of animal testing! We ourselves, and especially Natasha, are against these horrible methods.
The origins of our ingredients are from Germany, France, Italy and the US. Our products are manufactured in Italy. For your information, testing cosmetics on animals in Europe is against the law.
Moreover, we do not sell our products in China, because of the mandated animal testing. This is true for any market where there is mandated animal testing.”

How to get clean glowing skin with just two steps
Hey, guys I know it has been a while since I have posted a blog post. I am back and I have great finds for you. First off I’d like to say that I like to keep things simple into the point.
Many of the blockers like to add multiple stops that take what seems like forever maybe even half a day and honestly, I don’t know about you but I don’t have time for all that. So as a simple human being and a real human being, I will provide you with easy straightforward steps for getting amazing results.
So first step in getting amazingly beautiful clean, clear, and glowing skin for any day and routine is washing it.
Number one. I love this face wash it is called soy face cleanser by fresh beauty. This gentle cleanser is a gel which is a multitasker. This amazing cleanser is so pure and mostly natural. I don’t need harsh chemicals and crazy things inside of skin care that I use so this is perfect. As you all now fresh beauty has amazing natural products that work great with a lot of skin. So this cleanser not only washes your skin gently but also removes makeup and mascara! How cool is that, I love it.
Usually when I’m wearing makeup and I need to remove my make up and wash my face there a few steps that I need to take before everything comes off. It’s all girls would know that is true. First, you need to use a proper makeup remover to bite your face without her wipes or something oil based product. But now it’s all in one so no worries.
Step two after washing your face really nicely with this fresh beauty soy cleanser you need to moisturize your skin and have it prepped and ready for a day what are you going to use makeup or not. Girls you need to take care of your skin. You don’t want to have bad skin or have really unbalanced horrible looking skin in person. Everyone’s skin looks so amazing on social media and YouTube with their make up on and filters and this and that but do you really look like that in person cut? Most of the answer is no. So let’s start taking care of that immediately.
You do not need to use 10 steps in your skin care to have your skin looking amazing. Granted that there are few steps they do help the process but it is not all that necessary. Washing definitely is followed by moisturizing and then yes don’t forget to use your SPF as well. But I recently came up and found this amazing company that has all natural, organic, cold pressed, top grade face oils. I have been using their products for a while now and my skin is super sensitive it has rebalanced my skin my skin is glowing even when I wash my face it looks amazing and I get so many compliments in person. And I want to share this with you.

I have the pleasure to review another product by Vita Labs. This time I am testing and reviewing a whitening serum. No this isn’t going to make my skin color change. This cream is used for hyper-pigmentation, discoloration problems of the skin. It works by depositing the active ingredients into the skin, targeting dark and damaged areas. Prolonged use will lead to the brighter and smoother skin. Derived from one of the most potent and all-natural skin lightening herb that is native to the Amazon rain forest, AC-11® is known to be helpful in the repairing and minimizing dark spots. This ingredient is also essential in helping the body repair skin damage, giving you with supple, clearer and brighter skin. It has Vitamin B12 that aids in preventing hyper-pigmentation which causes excess darkening of the skin. It has TRANEXAMIC ACID that hinders sun spots from appearing and treats pigmentation such as freckles, sunburn, and dark skin. And lastly, it contains LS 908 EXTRACT which is proven to provide lighter and even skin tone.
Although I am fortunate enough to have nice skin, I still have some discoloration problems, some recent marks due to cold sores around my mouth area and from pimples time to time. This all falls under hyper-pigmentation problem. I’d like my skin to look clear and be flawless just like anyone else. So, I figured that I try this product and see if my problems are solved.
I have been using this product for few weeks now. After a few days I noticed my skin looking brighter and more luminous. The problems that I had addressed earlier took more time to lighten up. I see my skin’s clarity improve dramatically after each week. I think that with continuous use it can break up any skin problems that are related to dark spots and as mentioned.
It is recommended that you use this cream in small pea size amount day and night followed by moisturizer. Not necessary but I like to use a moisturizer afterwards.
I have very positive results using this cream over time, and would continue to use it. I also have sensitive skin, and have no had any breakouts or problems. This company’s creams seem to work well with people with that skin type. But if you do have extremely sensitive skin , as always try a small amount first on your skin and see over night.

Today I am excited to review this Triple C Serum with L-Abscorbic Acid. I am big fan of Vitamin C serums, lotions and anything related for use of skincare. Vitamin C is highly beneficial for your skin inside and out.
Some benefits of Vitamin C for your skin are include helping to even your skin tone, revitalize skin’s surface, significantly improve hydration, and keep your skin looking young. Ascorbic acid helps create younger-looking, firmer-feeling skin while signs of uneven skin tone seem to disappear. Ascorbic acid also helps skin’s surface rebuff external stressors and exposure to the elements.
Personally, I think that this is a great addition to your daily beauty routine. I can immedietly tell that this is highly concentrated product, by the smell and the acidity of it on the skin. By this I know that it is highly potent in Vitamin C.
I have been using this product for about two weeks now. I use it prior to my moisturizer. I apply one squeeze into my palms and with my fingers massage it through out my face. It absorbs quickly and does not leave any residue, greasiness or stickiness kind of feeling.
I think to see the full effect of a product you need to at least use it for a month, So I cannot tell you the full effect of how it really may be. But I can tell you how momentarily it is working. My skin does look slightly brighter and I especially apply this on my few marks that were left by my cold sores around my mouth. I feel like it with def. help with the hyper pigmentation. They are slowly diminishing.
Overall, I think this product is would be a good step in your skin care routine and if you have dark spots, fine lines, and especially unevenness of skin and lack luster , it would def. help through out time.

Shiseido’s new Ibuki line
Shiseido recently came up with a new skin care line called Ibuki.
I have always liked their line for skincare, not only because they do work but also because they seem to be gentle on my sensitive skin. This new line Ibuki is made for women like me who are always on the go. I live in NYC area and even if you are not from here you would know how much pollution and stress is in the air along with other things. Now I love NYC, but the toll it takes on my skin isn’t cool. I just got out of college, I am young and working. Work is stressful enough and then when the environment takes other toll along with the havoc around you know, I just cant let it show on my face, may it on the inside. This is where this product kicks in.
This product is designed to help protect you from UV rays, daily stress and dryness while keeping your face moisturized. I tried their trial kit which is well priced and in this way I can test out the line in and spend huge amount of money.
The kit comes with 3 products inside. Gentle cleanser, softening concentrate and refining moisturizer all 30ML bottles. I start with the cleanser, using only a pea size amount which lathers up and applying on my wet face. After washing my face feels silky smooth and fresh. It smells wonderful also. The good part is that because I have sensitive skin the fragrance does not bother my skin. Next I apply the softening concentrate, which is like a toner, it i just apply to my fingertips and smooth over face. It leaves my skin soft and ready for the next step. Last step is the moisturizer, which is magnificent. This is super moisturizing and just goes on beautifully. It is not greasy or oily and it absorbs into skin pretty quickly.
Immeideitly my skin felt wonderful, soft, clear, and radiant. It is truly good at upkeeping with my daily life and it def. improved my skin’s texture and the radiance.
